Kenyan in Cairns inc (KIC) is a community association and a family unit for Kenyans living in Cairns, Queensland Australia.

About Us
Our mission is to create an inclusive Kenyan community and family for Kenyans living in Cairns, Queensland, Australia.
We strive to preserve and celebrate our rich cultural heritage while promoting mutual support and social welfare. We actively facilitate meaningful integration into wider Australian community by collaborating with other Communities in Cairns.
We also respectively acknowledge the traditional Custodians of Cairns (Gimuy) region, Gimuy Walubara Yidinji, Yirrganydji and Djabugay people. We are grateful for the welcome our Kenyan community has received living, studying and working in Cairns.
Our Mission

Socialisation during Kenyan meetings and celebration of our Kenyan annual signature events like Madaraka Day, Mashujaa Day, Jamhuri Day etc.

Help in welcoming of new Kenyans in Cairns from Kenya or other Australian States

Welfare during bereavement (members and their family, nuclear family only, father/mother/brother/sister) Financial support and prayer gatherings.
